I listen to doom a lot and I've never heard of doomwave. In this context, it's still rather upbeat electronic music with slow and low synth tones accompanied by fast complicated drum patterns. I find the juicy, melodious synth of "revenge iii" most intriguing. "Pretty grave" is another favourite. Took me a couple of songs to get used to it.

doomwave is a genre that you really have to be in a nihilistic mood to enjoy. BAWS really knows how to emulate bleakness and hopelessness and turn it into music.

badass wolf shirt has taken the darksynth genre and made it his own. This is completely original and unlike anything I’ve heard. BAWS manages to do more than create “bangers” or catchy rifts. Almost every song accomplishes the daunting task of creating emotion in electronic music. With most synth albums, I pick 2 or 3 tracks and put them on a mix but I can’t stop listening to this on repeat. Picking a favorite song is hard. This entire album is a masterpiece.
